Our story
A workshop that grew around other people's drawings
SD Strong began as a small woodworking workshop taking on outside production work. Customers did not come with a catalogue in hand — they came with a drawing, a photo or a sample and asked whether it could be made.
Nineteen years later that is still how most orders start. The facility has grown to more than 2,000 m² of factory and warehouse, with hundreds of staff, over 40 machines and twelve production lines.
What has not changed is the loop: confirm the drawing, make a sample, agree the finish and packing, then run the batch. Every step happens in the same place, which is why we can tell you early when a detail will not work.
